the restaurant ambience was great. we were seated outdoors.
i usually don't like al fresco dining but this place has changed part of my view.
probably its the overall environment. the area is fenced with plants and surrounded with dim tealight lamps. (and yes, those enjoying the moonlight are all non-asian. sipping their wines at ritz)
the menu didnt have too much selection. maybe they are more focused with their signatures. i ended having this tofu tower with aubergine.
kinda surprised when it came. the tower isnt a tower afterall. lol.
however, i must compliment the chewy texture of the thiny tempura coating on the tofu and aubergine. it taste comfortable with the soy dressing.


ps: this tofu cost me S$34. most ahtas (lingo:high class) beancurd eaten.
